NEFF_Home

The New England Forestry Foundation was running a site that was out of date, and comprised of a handful of dated technologies that were no longer playing nice with each other. This made the site almost unusable, as there was no way to update the site, or to even patch some of the holes, due to the many technology dependencies.

Smudged Graphics scrapped the old site, created a new, friendlier design, and wrapped it all up in the Joomla! content management system. The staff can now add new content, publicize the latest events, and accept online donations.

The "Find a Forest" database was also rebuilt so the staff could have much more control over the management of the information about the many sites they manage.

The Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce was running a site that was quite out of date, and had no way to easily update the site. This was not the optimal situation for a vibrant community site with numerous events happening all the time!

Smudged Graphics scrapped the old site, created a new, friendlier design, and wrapped it all up in the Joomla! content management system. The staff can now add new content, publicize the latest events, and take online applications.

Smudged Graphics continues to be a part of the volunteer committee that works on new features for the site.

AWO-Site_400

All Ways Organized is about, well, organization. The web site needed to be a portal for people to find refuge from the piles that keep them trapped in the far corners of their life. But it also had to let them know that help was available without judgement. Judy Guertin, the owner, brings that philosophy to her clients, and her voice comes through in the articles she writes in her blog. She wanted a site that would enable her to write those articles, and help everyone get out from under!

Smudged Graphics created this custom template for the Joomla! CMS.

paragon400

The Paragon Expo Group was forced out of a proprietary content management system, and needed a new solution.

The site is actually 7 sites in one. The site displays information about Paragon the company, as well as information for the multiple shows the company produces. Each show has exhibitor information, show photos, online ticket sales and more.

The content for the entire site is managed by the content editors at Paragon, using this custom template for the Joomla! CMS, created by Smudged Graphics.
